The National Park Service has actually had someone remove the handles off all the well pumps along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal that runs 184 miles from Washington, D.C. to Cumberland, Maryland...
It doesn't matter whether the President personally ordered this done, or failed to reverse the absurd order when he first heard about it. He is responsible! Personal deniability is an absurd explanation when he has the biggest and most extensive intelligence agencies in the world.
I can't generate a microgram of respect or sympathy for the NPS workers who follow immoral, if not illegal orders to shut off water supplies to citizens, when the same president allows (requires?) water supplies along the Southern borders of our country for the benefit of foreign crminals.
NPS workers who have 'worked' during the National Shutdown have sullied their reputation and character permanently. Comparing them to Hitler's Willing Executioners is not that much of a stretch, if only because the order to shoot yellow tape 'tresspassers' on sight has not be given and followed.
But judging by the way some reports described the pleasure enjoyed by armed NPS hoods intimidating and terrorizing foreign tourists and elderly Americans, it would surprise, but not shock me if the order was given and followed.
That stain will last forever, and only a totally new NPS crew can revive the neutral way NPS workers were viewed. Nothing short of that will do. Time to retire or find a new job, because we know who you are, and I hope many many photographs of your unamerican and subhuman behavior can be evidence and testament to your certain unemployment hearing.
These guys are just being dicks.
