Has the craft brewery in the White House been closed?
C’mon just go back to drinking PBR -— the beer that made Milwaukee famous.
Any new “craft” beers that come out during this time will now be known to be stealth “craft” beers put out by the big brewery conglomerates.
Uh oh, This means no beer, cavalier, a renegade and steer clear
A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline
It’s the end of the world as we know it
It’s the end of the world as we know it
It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
It’s hopefully not going to take too long before the average Joe starts asking why in Sam Hill is the federal government involved in these activities at all.
To the contrary, I’d propose that craft brewers can now go about their legitimate business unimpeded by the nanny state.
I can point the Federalistas to places in the backwoods of SW Pennsylvania and West Virginia where damn fine brew is made without government approval.
A “little known” agency. But I’ll bet the BATF would be quick enough to jump in and start shooting people if they tried to make beer without federal permission.
WACO, anyone?
Here’s a poster child for inefficient, arrogant, redundant, meddlesome and unnecessary government. The whole agency should be abolished.
Amen, that is the most distressing part of this story, that the feds have any role in microbrews.
This impacts my plans as well to open a nano-brewery. But I’ll take the hit if we can get this country back on track. We need to be thinking about our children and grandchildren and what mess we are NOT going to leave them.
It is time for this obscure agency that quietly approves new breweries, recipes and labels to be closed permanently and the programs which it administers to be terminated.
Beyond the relatively small number of hard-core leftists who believe Government should run everyone's lives, it is unfortunate that a large majority Americans give little or no thought to the idea of what the role and size of Government should be. Many simply accept the notion that Government needs to regulate nearly every aspect of human activity.
This craft beer was not approved by the Federal Craft Beer Approval Agency.
Keep that obscure agency closed forever. That one and every one like it.
Why aren’t the States doing this?
Now that’s funny! Since when did I need government approval to make booze? There’s been brewers and distillers in our country since, well, before our country even existed. All the feds want is tax revenue, that’s IT. I work for my family and me, not the feds and their bankster buddies.
Time for another beer rebellion? (or was that whiskey?)
