Eight Democrat members of US Congress courted arrest in a show of civil disobedience at a rally here calling for comprehensive immigration reform to legalise America's 11 million undocumented workers, including 300,000 Indians.
"I've been arrested a few times, and I don't mind getting arrested again for something that is right and fair and just," said House member John Lewis the civil rights icon known for his speech during the March on Washington a half-century ago.

I thought they had permission to be there, why the arrests? For what? Sounds like the cops got paid to cuff them for the photo-op.
They, like the pResident, are common criminals.
The headline I would like to see would include “...and were shot trying to escape.”
The police should join the screen actors guild and get union scale for working as extras in the democrat’s little show yesterday.

I believe they were arrested for blocking traffic. They went out in the street and blocked it. They did a fine job of showing how much respect they have for the law. None

These members Congress have time to support law breakers ,but no time to address, growing unemployment,food stamps at record high,states going broke,Obama back with threats, social security checks might not go out on time, but no record of Obama,saying food stamps ebt accounts might not go out in time as well and the biggest concern these members of congress have are for the people who are not citizens of this country.
