Yes. They are afraid of their co-workers and superiors. They are afraid of losing what little they have. Fear and intimidation are powerful motivators. It takes a lot of backbone and conviction to stand up to it.
Will a freedom and liberty loving America survive this assault by the likes of obama, Reid, Pelosi, and Holder? I don't know. I wish I could say of course, we'll rise to the occasion! But honestly, I don't know...
