Cruz is doing what he was elected to do, the will of the people.
Who wants to play ball with quitters and losers? Not our future President, that’s for sure.
Huge problem: it sounds like no matter how great Cruz is, he is about to be Palined. The media will soon have republican and dem low infos hating him and thinking he is crazy.
It does us no good to sit on FR and adore Cruz. At least half the country has to feel that way. It has to be a morni g in America Reagan appeal or we get another Romney type. No way can a good person be conservative, really conservative, and be treated as less than stupid and crazy by the media.
Capehart is one of the Wash. Post’s character assassins, aka “hitmen”, along with Dana Milbank and E.J. Dionne, among others.
Just change the name of the paper to Pravda, Izvestia or Tass and is would read the same in Russian as it does in English, pure leftist bullshit.
Poor babies! Senator Cruz is making them look bad (Do they imagine that they didn’t *before* he spoke up?) & they don’t like it.
Like him or not, Senator Cruz & his fellow patriots seem to have roused Speaker Boehner from his reverie & that’s a VERY good thing!
The only “team” these wimps are on is losing.
Remember. Ron Paul was banned from the convention while Joe Lieberman was a featured speaker.
Neither were those pesky colonists...
So then what’s the answer? Since we aren’t the only ones who know what’s happening with the media and Cruz.....maybe it’s the media we should be going after before the election picks up steam.
Which begs...how?
<...”Cruz is doing what he was elected to do, the will of the people”....>
And the other “people” will go for Hillary as well as the media.....
Further they’ll do more then what we see now to Cruz before this over...and the Gop will be on it as well.
So no matter how you look at it there will be three fronts to battle. Which Cruz is doing already on his own pretty much.
The media is giving him press now because of the situation....along with the Reb’s and others....that will change as election rolls around....he’ll not get the press unless he has another plan to sidestep them or “play” in their game somehow.
Perhaps...but you cannot forget the press will determine who gets the face time...somehow we have to go after the press ..now..or find another Avenue that can get our guy in full view before the people as the election time starts moving forward.
MAybe put him on a train across the nation and back....:)
Maybe put him on a train across the nation and back....:)
Might be a plant story....but pressure still needs to be put on these a$$wipes.
A good ole boy RINO state representative walked up to me years ago and said being in the state legislature was like “being a member of a team”.
Just this summer a young man he mentored who is now my congressman spoke of being a “member of a team” led by the guy he had in for a fundraiser (John Boehner)

She had some young kids (including the baby with Downs) when she was being pilloried. I’d guess that cashing in on her fame and spending more time at home weighed heavily on her decision to get out of politics full time. But Ted is a man and does not have the same set of concerns as Palin. And from my observation, he’s much more smart (or wittier) than any other tea party republican. No offense to Palin, Paul and the rest. Ted just seems to think better on his feet and can spar better than anyone else I’ve seen in a long while. Of course I just might be biased to his more abrasive style. I’m tired of being polite and civil to the opposition. They need to be defeated. Sometimes being impolite and rude will accomplish your goals better. Toss in a little mockery too for a winning formula imho (Bork, Quayle and GW are just some examples of how the left did that effectively). Why in the world should we be so polite and civil to BHO. IMO, Ted Cruz is a new breed of politician. He’s a freshman senator for crying out loud and he’s the de facto leader of the House Republicans.
I see how scared the left is of him, by the way they are covering him in the press. He’s not going anywhere and he’s not going to let the press lie and distort who he is.
I got news for you GOP...THERE IS NO TEAM.
“speaking on the condition that he not be quoted by name:” I always stop reading at this point
“speaking on the condition that he not be quoted by name”
Yeah, sure Capehart. Try again.
Like it or no, believe it or no, Obama is pretty well shut down until those CR’s are passed. Obama’s track record is such that it’s pretty predictable he will attempt to supersede the Constitution and bypass the House. The question is can Reid and Pelosi hold the rank & file down as the outrage simmers at a new high.
The media of course will continue to play the same song and claim he’s fallen ‘just shy’ of violating the constitution or ‘didn’t technically’ when in fact that Rubicon was crossed already.
