I couldn’t discern an exact sequence of events from the video, and I imagine that dealing with a grossly irrational, possibly armed, driver is an chilling and unpredictable experience. Remember, this woman didn’t give a flip for the little soul in the back seat or any other human beings who happened to get in her way. This is one of those sad cases where we probably needed to shoot first and analyze later.

“shoot first and analyze later.” That is outrageous.

Both my dad and my husband were career military officers, and I never heard them say such a thing except in reference to being in a combat zone-DC wasn’t a combat zone the last I heard. This was not a hostage taking or a standoff-the woman could have been fear of HER life ...
