WASHINGTON (CBSDC) An online dating website which bills itself as The Worlds Largest Sugar Daddy Dating Website says it has recorded a 50 percent jump in average daily sign-ups since the start of the government shutdown.
SeekingArrangement.com claims its traffic has seen a dramatic rise in people seeking sugar daddys, which Merriam-Webster defines as: A well-to-do usually older man who supports or spends lavishly on a mistress, girlfriend, or boyfriend.
Similarly, WhatsYourPrice.com which allows first-dates to the highest bidder has reported a similar massive increase in daily signups since last Sunday despite the fall typically being a slow time of year for such financial matching websites.
We usually have a lull in September and October, Seeking Arrangements public relations manager Jennifer Gwynn told NPR. For us to peak at the end of the month in September, and this week in general, it makes no sense for us to have a growth like this.

Leeches. Typical government employee.
Half of the new members are single moms, so were thinking that its tied directly to the government shutdown, since programs like WIC (the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children), that help more than 9 million moms, have been stalled. It would make no sense for growth otherwise.
‘If I don’t get my gov’t cheese I will be forced to prostitute myself’
Lets see some pics of furloughed gov workers seeking Sugar.
Lie.
WIC is running fine.
“Just before the shutdown, the U.S. Department of Agriculture had warned that states would run out of WIC cash after a “week or so.” Now the agency says WIC should be able to provide benefits through late October, with states using $100 million in federal contingency money released Wednesday and $280 million in unspent funds from the last budget year.”
They already had to update their lie once.
There has also been a surge in misspelling, and in the inappropriate use of apostrophes.
But, but the site says, “It would make no sense for growth otherwise”.
I remember some politician in the past, during budget talks, saying something to the effect that if programs are cut women will have to resort to living in abusive relationships or becoming prostitutes. What a pig!
notice the “rent a whore” website didn’t fail under the load.
This company has an outstanding PR effort, getting all this free publicity on just about any news story.
Desperate Government workers queued up to apply for Sugar Daddies.

This is "new school" use of appropriate apostrophes.
Women and children hurt most.....Heh......
I know that’s probably some really clever reference that I’m just too ignorant to understand, but for those of us in Rio Linda — can you please explain what’s with the skis?
Thank you.
