I saw it and didn’t like it.
The special effects were good.. but the plot was bad lol.
Sandra Bullock didn’t carry the movie and she was pretty much the only character besides George Clooney
It’s ‘Open Water’ in space.................
The 3-D was spectacular and the views of space were worth it in themselves. There’s not much of a plot, but it was enough to keep those great views coming!
I did find it sad when Sandra Bullock’s character says “I should pray, I don’t know how to pray, nobody ever taught me to pray.”
That, to me, has to be one of the most unappealing movies I’ve heard of in a long time. A woman floating around in outer space? I couldn’t believe it when I first heard about it, I thought it had to be a joke. I’m not surprised to hear you didn’t care for it.
Speaking for the ‘younger audience’ our son and his wife saw it this weekend and loved it!....and my son is picky...he’s in the entertainment industry and knows all about the special effects.
I thought bullock did a nice job. It was her movie. She may get nominated.
The plot was just ok. Predictable. Cinematography and technical stuff good.
