St. Tammany Parish ceases its emergency operations for Karen (stand down - top gusts - 40mph)

"Due to the downgrade of Tropical Storm Karen to a tropical depression, and the discontinuation of all watches and warnings for St. Tammany Parish, the parish Emergency Operations Center will stand down. The parish's EOC staff and our partner agencies have ceased operations and they, along with the parish president, would like to thank the citizens of St. Tammany Parish for their cooperation during this event."

I wish they had gotten to her sooner. What's left of her is about to dump 2 to 3 inches of rain on Michigan today.

Your weather came from the front out of the west and has nothing to do with Karen, which is over 1000 miles away from Michigan.
