When John Boehner was first chosen speaker of the House many Republicans were very happy because he was considered conservative. I am inclined to believe that over the years he has been worn down by lack of support, from within the Rep party, for positions that the GOP elites were uncomfortable with. Now that Boehner has backup from newer members of both the House and Senate he is in a position to take the hard road and still make gains. Good line you quoted. “Welcome back to the fight. This time, I’m sure our side will win.” /> I hope other elected representatives will follow the example of those who are now stepping forth to plant the flag of freedom and independence right on the White House lawn.

It’s nice to see the house finally realize they are an equal but SEPARATE branch of the federal government.
