And it’s better for the US to take a lower profile in the Middle East and not be endlessly embroiled in expensive and bloody regional conflicts. The Israelis can and should take care of themselves without Uncle Sam.
The problem of course is that when the US arms Israel’s enemies Israel feels forced to ask the US for military aid as well.
