Jim's surgery was a grand success! Praise God! Thank you Lord and thank you ALL for your prayers!
Please continue to pray for Jim's rapid recovery and complete healing!

God bless you, dearest Jim! Our faithful prayers will continue. We know it can't be easy to lose your remaining leg, and I know I can't begin to imagine the pain you went through in your battle to save your leg, but I know that you fought hard until it was impossible to save, and that our good Lord actually guided your decision. Now we are praying that your recovery will be very quick and that your body will be the healthiest it's ever been! Lord, please hear and answer our prayers, again.
Our FReepathon is off to a great start with 30 Donations of $100 or more and 11 New Monthly Donors, including 2 New $1-A-Day Donor! I mention these Donations because of our Campaigns: Our 300 Club and Our New Monthly Donor Campaign, which I'll describe below.
Every quarter, FReeper I_be_tc, challenges 300 FReepers to match her $100 donation. Yesterday, I kicked-off I_be_tc's $100 challenge with my $100 donation to get things started, so please join me, if you possible can!
It was a big stretch for me, but I want to try to get this FReepathon done quickly for Jim's sake, and I know y'all do, too.

I have sent Drudge and others info on Arlington Cemetery.
I can not get to my husband’s grave. ( maybe a mile back into the site)
It is open to walking only. No cars and handicapped only if you “Park and Pay” then walk to the office and get a temporary permit. If you can do that you don’t need it!
No tours or buses and Arlington House is closed according to their website.
Nobody is talking about it though. I keep waiting. Korean site is on the same path and closed too?
Jim's successful surgery was only the first step.
His recovery will TAKE TIME.

Continuing prayer is essential.
Physical therapist came by and now Jim has been transferred to his power chair, and is much more comfortable.
He will be moving to another section of Floor 5 as soon as the staff gets all the ducks in a row.
He's lovin' being in his chair, now curzing the hallways...and then back to the room for vital checkings.
Obama has ordered that the priests cannot celebrate Mass in the military due to the shutdown. They are threatened with arrest.
I hope Americans are seeing what Obama really is.
