Now that I think back, I’m pretty sure I donated to that memorial, too. A lot of people did. What’s the administration going to do? Round up WWII vets for trespassing on something We the People paid for?

The memorial was funded ENTIRELY by private donations, and is maintained by a trust fund created from private donations.

Obama is such a despot!

I know I donated to the Memorial. In order to submit names of WWII veterans, you paid a certain amount ($25/person — I THINK). If you submitted a picture of the person, it was an additional fee. Then, when the Memorial was well under way, they requested additional donations, all of which I and millions of others donated to. There was no mention of federal funds being used to help with this memorial.
