The Folding Lawn Chair Party will probably acquiesce in this instead of holding onto a great hand: Simply say that they are too busy trying to fund the government to take up the debt ceiling. Once they get the government going again, they’ll turn their attention tot the debt problem.

Hope you are right but have absolutely nothing to show that it is true. That is unfortunately the goal and we are losing again... We are Republicans/ Actually Conservatives and the Media will always be against us. Expected but don’t think that we can prevail until changes are made.

Well, even Matt Fuller of Rollcall said on CSPAN that the minibill strategy was winning for us.
Today Harry Reid made his drones vote against funds for D.C. - and the cops who protected him and his drones.
And against funds for any little girls getting cancer treatment at the NIH.
So far, so good. But it’s no done deal for sure.
