Thanks for update. I am behind the reports. If this was a real threat, why would they lift the shelter in place? They would have no way of knowing whether this was a larger attack at this point. Brier making point that some reports are that she was UNARMED!! Possible pit maneuver which made her hit fence.
Thanks to the media and DC politics, the whole story is hopelessly screwed up....lol.

As I understand it from CNN, they had a bead on the woman from the incident near the WH and followed her. When police shot her (presumably dead), child was discovered—— lockdown ban was immediately lifted.
This may turn out to be a OH SH-T moment for the police. Their defense will be, as CNN sees it, that once she had the altercation and sped away at high speed, “use of of force was authorized,” and presumably (big presume) justified.
