He has only a biased, peripheral understanding of what is *pronounced* or discussed by ANY pope.
It is similar to his understanding of the American spirit, or the Constitution or to wise economics.
Much of this explains why he so ignorantly fell for Marxist ideology. Other factors probably include his dysfunctional family and his relationship (or lack thereof) with his own father and the absence of the Divine in his life.
