Police say the man was shot by a homeowner who caught him coming through his bedroom window.

Police say the burglar tried to run for it, but the homeowner was able to get the drop on him and hold him in the backyard until officers arrived.

I used to have rental property a few blocks from the site of the shooting. I got rid of it about 25 years ago because the area had changed and I wasn’t comfortable going there to check on my property. Frayser used to be a solid middle class area, but now it’s one giant ode to the many failures of liberalism.

I wanted to thank you for the effort you put in to finding and posting these great articles from around the country that I’m sure most of us wouldn’t hear about otherwise. It’s a real eye-opener to see how often people have to protect their lives with guns.
That is my intent. It seems to go beyond bias into agenda. John Lott wrote a book about it:
The burglar is alive, and that’s bad news for the homeowner. He can claim the homeowner invited him into the house, then tried to rape him.
A slam-dunk self-defense case will become a he-said, he-said.
