Now, raising the debt ceiling is poorly worded because it doesn’t raise the debt at all! And his analogy is getting a restaurant bill and since it is too high, you just don’t pay it. See, you aren’t saving money! You are just unreliable and hurt your credit rating. Then credit bureau will see you don’t pay bills and won’t give you money. The same with countries. geez
