This is the petty stuff normally reserved for local school boards who can’t pass a funding referendum. They do whatever they can to make things as painful as possible for decent citizens. It’s their way of getting both publicity and revenge.

There are a lot of typical decent Americans living their lives uninterrupted today, despite the government shutdown. They continue to draw their pay from the private sector, and are not missing any government benefits because they never got any in the first place.

Several sections of the government continue to function despite the shutdown. The administration has cherry picked it’s favorites to keep open.

The administration chose to prohibit entry into OUR parks and national monuments to punish decent Americans, the ones who give more than they take.

Thank God for the WWII vets.
