I very much like the fact we now have a fall-back plan, that anyone on America can use to cover their costs.

Regardless of medical history.

I think that is a very valuable addition to American medical care.

I think the fact it got a lot of attention is good, and I like the way this is playing out so far.

Stand firm GOP.

So you’re for government (i.e., taxpayer-funded) freebies if it involves something you may be eligible for and interested in?

Even if it involves a fascist nationalization of 15% of our economy?

Why are you here and supportive of the GOP rather than over on DU and backing the Democrats?

I don’t think its all that great. The hospital I work in has a hiring freeze in place because of concerns they have over this plan.

just to clarify, any body who is sick or injured can get care at any ER anywhere...its the law already....

and, there are plenty of govt subsidized clinis for the poor, the nearly poor, the working poor, the illegals, etc.....

but many of these people don't really want to be treated in a preventive manner....that would require some personal discipline...they'd rather wait until they have raging infections etc then get the royal private room, cable tv, waiting servants treatment...
