The hiring rules in the agency favor ex-military, so quite a few rangers will be vets themselves. Would anybody even try to order them to do such an incredibly vile thing as arrest WW2 vets visiting their own memorial? Some fatass bureaucrat like the one answering the phone probably might, but would the rangers follow through on the order? I don't believe it. They're Americans too; a large number of them must feel the same as we do about this.

With fes exceptions, if given the order by their handlers they will make the arrest. Just becasue a few vets in their ranks might not doesn’t mean the career fedgov drones wouldn’t.
