Where the hell did they get the 18% number?
If 18% was truly that effective in shutting the country down, they have a LOT more to worry about then they think they do now!
They are talking about the tea party House members representing 18% of the population. Assuming House districts are equal in population, the 80 members they referred to out of 435 districts is 18.4% of the population.
