ALL Department of Defense federal civilians working in maintenance of military equipment, feeding the troops, troop record keeping, medical, dental, etc. whether active, national guard, or reserve should be exempt from furlough.
It’s crazy to have troops who don’t have maintained equipment or basic services.
Exempt means you work but don’t get paid.
