The RATS won’t go along. Back in ‘95, Bildo Klintoon took time out from Snapping Thong Pizza Delivery services to refuse to allow national parks to reopen under state control. They will do everything they can, just as they did with the meager sequester, to inflict the most pain.

This is different than ‘95 because people can get their information from other than the MSM.

We'll just bundle up the agencies we want re-opened and add it to the debt limit.

This really is Gettysburg for this country. The winner of this fight will set precedent going forward for the next generation how Gov't is funded in this country. The RATs know this, and will fight to the death...

“They will do everything they can, just as they did with the meager sequester, to inflict the most pain.”

In Ohio if a school levy fails, the first things they cut are football, band, other athletics, other extra curricular, pretty much in that order and they keep them cut until the public squeals uncle and votes for higher taxes.

Then they’ll get the blame for “keeping school kids, retirees, foreign tourists and everyday Americans” out of OUR parks, and national monuments (just look what happened with the Veterans at the WWII Memorial!)?
