I read something the other day that explained that the law forbidding government propaganda was overturned a while back, so now the government can pose as if it was somebody credible instead. That’s why there’s the fake Twitter stuff and the people who are paid to come here and other places and post comments as if they are not paid by the government. The government has made it legal for itself to propagandize and that is exactly what they are doing.
Before the law was changed they had to do the same thing through fake polls, to make it look like there was a grassroots groundswell for their agenda.
This is why something like the dontfundobamacare petition is so much more credible. It uses real names and verified unique email addresses. And rallies. You can’t fake a live person, although you can plant crazies to try to discredit a movement. The Tea Party rallies with real live people had to be stopped; they were too effective. That’s one of the reasons why the IRS targeting and the Giffords shooting had to happen. The most effective way we have of making our voices heard to the media and amongst ourselves is by physically showing up to support the cause. Those who Twitter can do so in the meantime but ultimately the way to separate the truth from the propaganda is to have people show their faces.
As for the media itself, we just need to shut it off. Let Rush Limbaugh’s research team get stuck listening to the crud for all of us. When those sources have 2 people left listening to them, they can be recognized as the echo chamber that they are. Maybe post on the online stuff just so people know there is opposition. If they let you post, that is. With the Obama eligibility stuff they’d never let me post factual information on the threads. Cowards.
I imagine that bots could easily get the fake Twitter folks to re-tweet the same message also.
Obama is making real life just another video game with cheats. Nothing is real.

In 4 + years Boehner has had lots of memorable sob performances!
Changing the House Bill to be sent to Reid is Boehner’s way of trying to grovel at the feet of Reid.
Boehner must go!
Almost 4 years of failure to to defund Obamacare is proof enough that Boehner has been a failure as the Speaker of the House.
Boehner skated by during this battle ONLY because Reid wanted to shutdown the Government.
The next battle is what Reid is preparing for: Crushing all Republican opposition to a large increase in the Federal Budget.
Reid’s plan is to move quickly, (Obama is scandal ridden, and has but 3 years left if he is not Impeached), to enshrine Obamacare as a single payer, Federal Insurance system.
Then Federal Obamacare Insurance premiums can be raised by the IRS anytime the Democrats need to extract more money from the taxpayers.
Thus, Congress would not be involved in this tax money raising scheme.
As for the Republicans, Reid is unconcerned about them, as he has always been able to beat them EVERY TIME.

I agree we need to, once again, show up in large numbers at rallies and the Tweets/FB and thread postings. Not sure if it's just me, but it seems like a lot of the paid trolls on several sites have dropped off. Maybe it's the sequester :-/

I believe the system was designed to fail. Then they can “kill” but since some have already signed up, the fed will come in and provide it. That means they HAVE to provide for everyone.

As long as they can claim that they are using State Dept money to try to “educate” non-Americans here at Free Republic, for instance, they can hire people to post here, or on fake manufactured Twitter accounts (like the millions of fake Twitter followers that Obama has bought), on Facebook, etc. It’s just coincidental that a lot of Americans will see the (dis)information being spewed.
Everybody really ought to read that law and see that it covers every type of communication you can think of, about any kind of subject matter you can think of - and the only stipulation is that there has to be a possibility that a foreigner might see that communication sometime.
That NDAA was bad, bad news, in a million different ways. I thought US citizens being able to be assassinated because they are labeled as “belligerent” was bad enough but there’s a lot more crap in there too.
You know, the WWII vets who weren’t going to accept being shut out of the WWII Memorial in DC could be labeled as “belligerent”. Maybe Obama won’t arrest them after all, maybe he’ll just hit them with a drone...
