2012 Election Result Isn’t Quite Vote of Confidence Democrats Say It Is (Exit Polls Anti-Obamacare)
Roll Call ^ | 09/29/2013 | Nathan L. Gonzales

“Elections matter.”

That’s probably the most common refrain of the health care battle. Democrats consistently point back to President Barack Obama’s convincing 2012 re-election win as evidence that the American people back his agenda, including his signature piece of legislation.

But I was surprised when I looked back at the national exit poll to see what “the people” said about Obamacare while they gave the president a second term.

“Should the 2010 Healthcare law be repealed?” Nearly a majority, 49 percent, said yes, while 44 percent said no.

Also proves that the Dems cheated. Unless people thought electing Obama would result in repealing Obamacare.

Obama ordering the IRS to suppress the Republican vote caused serious damage to Romney's campaign. God only knows what the NSA did under orders from Obama. Electronic election result tally rigging, perhaps?

Obama STOLE the election, I have no doubts about that. He's a proven pathological liar and a thief, Chicago style.

The behavior of the elected democrats tells me that they know that momentum has shifted away from them and they’re going to be left with nothing but their most rabid supporters.

Rather than simply accepting failure they’ve adopted propaganda and manipulation. They’re calling the tea party every name in the book to try to prevent people from taking an honest look at what we’re saying. They’re telling people that Obamacare is written in stone law that can’t be changed no matter how many dislike it.

I’m even seeing chatter among the farthest left about eliminating the house of representatives. Harry Reid is backing that crap up with attacks on the house ignoring the will of the people when in reality the senate is the branch behaving like nobility.

If the Republicans do not take the opportunity to get rid of this patently disgusting law then the only conclusion that can be drawn is that they support and defend it and are nothing more than Marxists in RINO drag!

There are many Democrats who forego all the issues to press D in the voting box.

They have to get really screwed bad before they even begin to not vote. They have been told since public school how enlightened they are when they vote Democrat. The press pets their heads and tell them how wonderful Democrats are.

Lastly, there is now so many people connected to welfare and government employment welfare that there is a large automatic D vote in the booth.

People take the easy route. The easy route is to ride the gravy train into the ground.

Look at blacks, they were abused by Dems when they were hosing them out of schools and operating the KKK. But Johnson came along and said if they gave the N-words welfare they will vote for them for the next 50 years.

We suffer the selfishness and stupidity of the low information voter. We also suffer the closed minded voter as well.
Can you imagine if the Blacks in our country realized what was behind the welfare? IMO a few would be insulted and never vote D, but humans can be lazy and take the easy route, so IMO most all would vote D for a nickel instead of going out to earn a dollar.

Sadly, none of this matters ever since Judge Roberts walked away from the prime opportunity to drive a stake through the heart of this Communistic Beast. One day, we will find out why he changed his mind to such an important issue. If Roberts was under legal pressure because of the possible illegal adoption of two foreign children who could have been taken away. If that was the reason, to keep peace with The Mrs., then Roberts should do the only honorable thing left which is too resign. The state of our nation takes precedence over the state of his family’s happiness, or at least it’s supposed to.
He can always say he was having a resurgence of neurological problems. This actually has happened to him before as an adult.

I’m a partisan flamethrower. Your argument is too wonkish to reach the masses.

In all seriousness, you are correct. I believe if we had a nominee who hammered Obamacare from sunrise til sunset we’d have won, but with Romneycare wrapped around our necks we looked like hypocrites. Hence, Obama won, while people still hated Obamacare. Which also brings in the guilty vote factor (can you throw out the first black POTUS after one term?).

Its kind of funny in a sad way.

I think Obama’s sudden desire to bail out Detroit is a result of he and the democrats being in trouble there. The state has basically seized control of the elections in Detroit and they can’t count on fraud to carry the state anymore. While the democrats will carry Detroit, they won’t carry it with fraud and by extension, the state.

We need to unite and win 2014 because if we don’t, we might get Obama for another term...

Obamacare wasn’t even an issue in 2012. Romney obviously has his own sordid history on the issue and the Obama team, for its part, used Romneycare to insulate itself from attacks on ObamaCare.

Seriously, the public is presented a choice between PelosiCare and RomneyCare, and this is somehow proof that Democrats cheated?

And how did we get that choice ? By undermining support for the conservative candidates in the primary with NSA data and IRS targeting. Once it was Romney verses Obama, the fix was in.

“the public is presented a choice between PelosiCare and RomneyCare”

Exactly. Romney praised ObamaCare but said his plan was better. Which is the same thing Hillary said in the Democratic primary, that her socialist health program was better than Obama’s.

Obama presented his (socialist) principles and legislation, while Romney just had small-ball tactical counter punching without ever saying what he would do in office.

That’s the most frustrating thing about the Republican party, that their establishment fights only a fraction as hard as the Democrats, and then the Republican establishment says the election loss is a rejection of conservatism and support for the Democrats.

This is as obvious as the nose on your face. The people did not vote for Obama.
