I support the fact my employer currently covers my healtcare, and I like my plan.

I likewise support the Obamacare coverage which will be available, should I somehow lose my current employment.

American companies are busy (have been for an entire generation) sending American jobs overseas. America’s employment base continues to shrink. Each time an American jobs goes overseas, another American is OUT OF LUCK on insurance.

I believe what we have now, is the best plan we have out there right now. With Obamacare.

I’m not saying it’s perfect, but all I see is Republicans complaining about it.

Pass something.

Obamacare is a job killer.
Already many are going from 40 hours to less than 29.
Premiums of those that work are going up like a rocket and coverage is going down.

If you had coverage with an employer before, you are more than likely going to see it IMO end now. The employer can either reduce staff, hours or just pay the fine and send people out looking for their own.
Some employers are giving a few dollars to employees and telling them to go find their own as well.

Your employer CURRENTLY does cover you, but unless you are a GOVERNMENT worker, don't expect the best for your future. Even government workers are IMO going to get their butts handed to them by the people in the near future. Another round of defunding many of them.

I think what should have been done first is to get people out of our medical care that never should have been there to begin with...illegals that get free care, especially at hospitals and don’t pay. Illegals have been a terrible strain on hospitals and doctors financially for many years and the reason is when they don’t pay their bill others have to pay more to cover it. I remember when it was financially possible to pay for medical care without insurance- and the funny thing is doctors made more money then. Without the illegals in the equation costs of medical care could have been reduced.

The next thing to solve the problem should have been changing the laws about selling insurance- doing away with some of the government regulations on companies selling insurance only in certain states, all that red tape so insurance companies would have been forced to compete with each other, which would have driven down costs of insurance. If insurance companies had to compete they would be selling policies targeted to individuals at a lower cost so it would not have to be job related.

After that it would have been easier to figure out what needed to be done to fix our health care/insurance crisis. At that point it likely wouldn’t have been a crisis but it might have still needed a little something. This is where things like people being uninsurable due to previous condition and things like that could have been addressed.

Problem is getting illegals out of our medical burden would require getting them deported out of the country and not allowing them to come here to begin with, which is not politically correct. In fact I am sure that would be considered racist.

Changing laws to force insurance companies to compete would not be done by dishonest politicians either since the insurance company lobbyists line the pockets of politicians to make sure things like that don’t happen.

Is it Taxing Medical Devices so innovation will be stopped?

Is it paying a 3.8% Tax on the Sale of your Home?

Is it forcing people to buy a Product via Government threat of imprisonment?

Is it forcing Small Business to keep their workforce at under 50 Employees, thus stifling Growth of the Private Sector?

Is it forcing Large Corporations to downsize the Hours of their Workforce so their Profit Margin will not be destroyed by the Costs imposed on them by the Communists currently running our Government?

Is it the fact that even after the entire Healthcare System in this Country is destroyed, the same number of people who are currently “Uninsured” will remain Uninsured?

Is it the fact that our Tax Dollars will cover Abortion and Illegal Aliens under Obamacare, two things that the Democrats and Lord Obama guaranteed would not happen?

So you think Employer sponsored insurance is they only insurance available to you.

You DO KNOW you can get a policy on your very own? ..granted w/o the employee contribution.

Maybe you can get congress to exempt you or get congress to write a special law granting you reimbursement like them.
