I’m not so sure. The effects of Obamacare will still be there even if a delay is passed, because employers will still be unwilling to invest, knowing that Obamacare is coming in another year. That’s why Obamacare has ALREADY been a disaster even though it’s not been implemented yet. The PROSPECT of it being implemented is killing our economy, and for as long as it seems like Obamacare will eventually go into effect, it will have that chilling and killing effect on our economy.
So I don’t think a delay would make this issue go away. Delaying it for one year means that the subject will come up again right before the midterm elections, and if conservatives sweep the mid-term elections we will have the votes to completely get rid of Obamacare. If our economy can last another year of this, and if there is still ANY integrity within the voting process. Neither of which is very certain, IMHO. But this is the scenario that conservatives might be looking at, and why they might want to delay Obamacare. I don’t know if the conservatives are on board with this plan or not, but this could be the reasoning if they are.
Butters, Butters, are you still holding on to that quaint idea that you can still VOTE in America? And that your vote actually COUNTS?!?
