And they ran him off. Cruz is nothing like McCarthy, except that he isn’t your usual Republican wimp. If this McCarthy analogy becomes a Democrat talking point, look for them to try to destroy him.

He was mostly right. He was off on a wild goose chase a few times...like against George Marshall. M.Stanton Evans documents that in his pro-McCarthy book “Blacklisted By History” which everyone should read.
