Cruz spoke directly to the base, energizing it like it hasn’t been in a long time. That’s going to matter in 2014. He also shined a light on the antics of Harry Reid in the Senate and raised the stakes on Democrats going along with Reid.
The next step in Cruz’s plan is CR’s from the House that fund important parts of the Federal Government. Some parts of the Government should no longer be funded in light of the prospect of a default. Never say never. The battle is just beginning. Do you’all really think that Cruz has no long-term plan?
