Oklahoma Republican Sen. Tom Coburn criticized Texas’ Sen. Ted Cruz for misleading the American people over Obamacare.
“To create the impression that we can actually defund Obamacare, when the only thing we control, and barely, is the House of Representatives, is not intellectually honest,” Coburn said on Thursday’s Morning Joe.

Reality to Sen. Coburn - Why do we have to do what the Senate demands? How about the House using the power of the purse like it is supposed to. Wouldn’t it be a riot for Boehner to dismiss congress, saying he passed a valid CR?

I wonder what would happen if the house just tossed it back over the fence to the Senate, again, with defunding in it, and it came to a vote and enough democrats voted for it that it actually had to go to the president. It’s a long shot, but as someone else mentioned, so was our taking on th British. All REAL winners have done this and prevailed.
Shouldn’t have taken much to be disappointed in mcblame. He’s been a disappointment long before he got the nod to run for POTUS. Again, old guard repubs. It was his “turn.” Kind of like union seniority I guess.

Coburn is a defeatist loser and needs to be sent back home top OK permanently. The House passed legislation that prevents the Government from shutting down. They also decided to not fund obamacare. If obama and Harry Reid want the government to continue functioning all they have to do is sign off on the House bill. Period! That’s your argument Senator! obama and Reid will be shutting down the government...not Senator Cruz, you whiny weak kneed dumbass!
