The Republican Party didn't help itself any with Proposition 187 under the governorship of Pete Wilson, which targeted public services for illegal immigrants.

BTW I don't get this take on 187. The measure passed with 2/3 of the vote & was thrown out by a single corrupt judge.

God help me, but I hope that judge spends eternity experiencing the horrible effects of every illegal alien who came to California because of her...from the point of view of the victims.

Absolutely!

The people are strongly against any illegal getting anything, but the marshmalo heads keep telling us that we want them to have full benefits.

The party didn’t help itself by not defending 187; that was the big mistake.
