Really? Do not these fools know their “law” will not stop people from selling their PRIVATE PROPERTY to others who may wish to buy?

Can you see a rancher on the high plains telling his neighbor “I can’t sell it to you till we go into town and get a background check on YOU to make sure YOU are not a criminal”.

It is worse than that. If a person could find an FFL to do the check, and the prospective buyer is declined, the seller would have to do a background check to get his property back. There is no legal way to sell a gun private party to private party in Colorado.

Black markets are the only free markets left.
