This won't be the end of the world, but the politics are treacherous and unpredictable.

Contrast that bit of fluff with

This won't be the end of the world

It [funding obamacare]may not be the end of the world, but it will sure as hell be the end of the United States of America as it once was. And I have no doubt that at the end of the day it will be funded.
