Worth watching! Cruz is quite impressive. He speaks to the point in straight talk to decipher the typical Washington double-talk. He has his facts together and throws Reid’s hypocritical words right back to him. In a mere few minutes he distilled this to a clear explanation of his unanimous consent requests. He is calm, collected and deliberate. How refreshing compared to the muddled minds attacking him.

Thank you Texas. If I could trade you a Durbin and Kirk (and I’ll even throw in a Duckworth) I would do it in a heartbeat.

If the Senate is going to amend it we need a Senator to insert an amendment that all federal employees, including Congress and everybody in the regime, be subject to exactly the same requirements as every other American, and all waivers be declared unlawful, as would be appropriate under the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause.
