I have no problem, personally, with his theological perspective. It’s Christianity 101, and to be expected.
The problem, however, is he is also Republican lieutenant governor candidate who happens to be a preacher and fits the false belief so unfortunately common in Jewish circles that “conservatism” and “Judaism” are mutually exclusive.
Are you saying that Jews commonly practice fallacious reasoning:
A Republican is a Christian - therefore Republicans are anti-Judaism.
There is no logic in your fears. Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and Calypso Louis are all open anti-Semites and Democrats. I know of no openly anti-Semitic Republicans.
The KKK was almost exclusively democrats.
Are you saying that most Jews are ignorant, or just illogical?
Should Republicans just dumb down, lie, or exclude Christians from the party, or from seeking office?
Okay. Chrstian clergy should be barred from seeking or holding political office. Got it. Thanks for playing.
Let's all acknowledge that no body actually knows anything, that there is no objective religious truth, and everyone should be forced to attend services in the UN "meditation room" once a year.
I'm done here. Shit.
