Absolutely correct.
If Barry wants to throw a tantrum and “shut down the gubmint” because his hated pet CommieCare program doesn’t get funded, then he owns the “shut down.”
Even with mealy-mouthed leaders like Boehner and McConnell, they should be able to point the finger at the Idiot in Chief and explain this.

The Republican mantra should be simple:
Obamacare was passed against the will of the people and without any Republican votes. The American people elected a Republican House of Representatives because they wanted to be rid of this horrid intrusion on their lives and imposition on the economy. We intend to follow the instructions of those who put us here.

I agree with your assessment. The media, including Fox, is going with the President’s take on this, ignoring that the defunding of ObaynerobertsCare is separated from the CR for operating the g’ment.
