I took a grand tour of Baltimore in 1961, compliments of the Marine Corps. I took a dislike to the place then, it looked like Dirtbag City, and I’ve never recovered. I asked the Captain if we were going to attack the place. I suggested napalm to speed the cleanup. I think he said something like we should wait for orders. As a country boy I’d never seen such a kraphole. More recently I’ve flown over it at 500 MPH and it still looks like a krap hole even at that speed.
