Pressure from Obama. They probably thought they could contain it, then Morsi made himself dictator and the Army could see where that led. So, they stepped in.
Egypt’s economy has collapsed. What Morsi didn’t destroy through socialist incompetence the fighting destroyed. Tourism was the economy. You’d be crazy to go to any Muslim country now or in the future.
There was an election that put the guy in power. He brought more of his thugs in. He had an agenda, and put it in action. Then, the people got more up to speed on this agenda...
