ADL calls for immediate removal of 'offensive and outrageous' promotional messages showing Nazi dictator singing praises of Saudi-owned satellite networks programming for September
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is calling for the immediate removal of offensive and outrageous promotional messages on a Saudi-owned satellite television network that show infamous Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler singing the praises of the networks programming for September.
This offensive and outrageous campaign trivializes the Holocaust by turning Hitler into a cartoonish poster child, said ADL National Director Abraham H. Foxman.
Perhaps someone thought all of this was funny, but one wonders how it will play across the Arab World, where there is scant education about the murder of six million Jews and millions of others by Hitler and the Nazis and where Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism are rampant.
"Why would a Saudi media outlet want to associate itself with one of historys most demonic mass murderers?
The ad campaign for MBC Action, which is based in Dubai, features clips from the 2009 Quentin Tarantino film Inglourious Basterds, where the Nazi dictator is shown speaking in a room to other Nazi officials.
Arabic subtitles inserted under the images focus on the television networks new programming in September. Hitler is made to say, Look at the achievements of MBC Action. They will control the entire region. They are preparing for a campaign called September to Remember.
ADL is urging the network to immediately remove the campaign from circulation.
Well why wouldn’t they? They sided with Hitler during WWII
Just let the muslims advertize what they are. ADL to the wrong rescue again.
Arabs seem to hold Hitler and Nazis in high esteem to due their mutual fanatic anti-semitism, but they are hardly blonde haired blue eyed aryans and would have been stuffed into the ovens eventually too once they expended their usefulness to the Reich. And you can take that to the bank.
Not so.
Hitler collaborated with the Arabs during WWII, so much so that his “final solution” may actually have been designed by the grand Mufti of Egypt who was with Hitler at crucial times, like at the Wannsee conference. This is corroborated by both the memoirs of Hajj Amin and his family, and the memoirs of Heinrich Himmler.
He described them as the “ideal warriors”, the ones he would choose if he were to choose anyone outside Germany.
I’m aware of the nazi/islamic collaboration, the photos of uncle Adolf with the imam of Jerusalem, as well as Hitler’s musings about islam itself. A collaboration of convenience. Useful and expedient for the moment, nothing more.
Then you also know, of course, of Hitler’s plans to get rid of Christianity.
And that he had two alternative “tracks” for replacement - one was a tailored new religion, sort of like what was done with Scientology, and the other was islam.
If they weren’t supporting such horrible things in Syria, the region, and the world, this would almost seem like a continuation of the YouTube Downfall meme.
Hey, let’s lighten up for a moment. This “Hitler” spoof scene has been used for some of the funniest ads and “digs” at Obama that I have ever seen.
If you haven’t seen them, they are on YouTube.
Foxman, again, has aimed at the wrong target. He would be better off going after CAIR and other jihadist front groups, and I say this as a Jew from a Holocaust devastated family.
Sometimes something is just funny, and there is no ill will involved.
We have humor on our side, even if it is sometimes a bit wacky and insulting, but we’re big enough people to understand that humor comes in all types and is part of free expression.
Foxman has outlived his usefulness. Time for some new blood over at ADL. They’ve developed tunnel-vision and are looking in the wrong places from important issues to deal with.
bttt
An amusing one is Hitler finding out they cancelled Ugly Betty.
Foxman is out of his tiny mind. His main comcern these days is that the muslims don’t be victimized by the holocaust.
Springtime for Hitler, anybody?
