Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated. OBAMA, with an army to enforce his tyranny, has declared that he has a right (not only to TAX) but “to BIND us in ALL CASES WHATSOEVER” and if being bound in that manner, is not slavery, then is there not such a thing as slavery upon earth. Even the expression is impious; for so unlimited a power can belong only to God...
There are cases which cannot be overdone by language, and this is one. There are persons, too, who see not the full extent of the evil which threatens them; they solace themselves with hopes that the enemy, if he succeed, will be merciful. It is the madness of folly, to expect mercy from those who have refused to do justice; and even mercy, where conquest is the object, is only a trick of war; the cunning of the fox is as murderous as the violence of the wolf, and we ought to guard equally against both.”

With this now-well-understood-liar occupying the White House (and his party on the Hill and his acolytes in the media and academia), how could they do less? Everything he and his czars have done is to smother any recovery. It is long past time that his chickens come home to roost.
Obama: GOP will send US into recession to prevent ObamaCare “A faction on the far right of the Republican party who’ve convinced their leadership to threaten a government shutdown if they can’t shut off the Affordable Care Act. Some are actually willing to plunge America into default if they can’t defund the Affordable Care Act,” Obama said.
“Think about that. They’d actually plunge this country back into recession — all to deny the basic security of health care to millions of Americans.”
Obama said he will not negotiate with Republican lawmakers over raising the debt ceiling.
“We are a compassionate nation. We are the world’s bedrock investment. And doing anything to threaten that is the height of irresponsibility. That’s why I will not negotiate over the full faith and credit of the United States,” Obama said.
On Friday, the president called Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to reiterate that claim.

“If this Congress doesn’t do it within the next few weeks, the United States will default on its obligations and put our entire economy at risk,” Obama said.
The president said time is running short for congressional action.
“We are running out of time to fix this. But we could fix it tomorrow. Both houses of Congress can take a simple vote to pay our bills on time, then work together to pass a budget on time,” Obama said."
