Two House Democrats Voted To Defund ObamaCare

This morning, two Democrats in the House of Representatives stood with Republicans and voted to defund ObamaCare. This officially makes it a bi-partisan effort to put an end to a partisan bill. A horrible, partisan Democratic bill that Americans did not, and do not, want.

Via Lucianne, The Daily Caller reports,

Two Democratic members of the House voted with Republicans Friday to defund Obamacare and fund the government until the end of the year: Utah Rep. Jim Matheson and North Carolina Rep. Mike McIntyre.

Matheson is the sole Democratic member of the Utah delegation, a state that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney won with almost 73 percent of the vote. Matheson, on the other hand, eked out a win in 2012, beating former Saratoga Springs Mayor Mia Love in 2012 by fewer than 3,000 votes.

Love has said she will challenge Matheson again in 2014.

McIntyre’s race was even tighter: he beat Republican state senator David Rouzer by fewer than 700 votes, a margin so slim that McIntyre was only declared the winner after a recount. Rouzer has announced he will challenge McIntyre again in 2014.

Normally, this would indicate an act of courage. But, it’s more likely Milton Friedman’s wisdom of solving things by “making it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing”. Both Democratic representatives narrowly won in the 2012 election over their formidable Republican challengers. By the way, Republican challenger to the Democratic Utah Rep. Jim Matheson is an outstanding Conservative star. Mia Love, Mayor of Saratoga Springs, narrowly lost, but says she will run against Matheson again. Jim Hoft and I hope she wins!

Probably true but I'll express my appreciation in hopes it will encourage more of the wrong people to do the right thing. I sent emails to Levin and Stabenow today telling them that I can forgive their mistake of voting for Obamacare if they choose to take this opportunity to correct their mistake.

Yes, they got permission for this, Pelosi wants them to win of course, if not for pigs like them she never would have been Speaker.

They are the 2 most vulnerable rats, time for the d-CON.
