I would say that the priority is to recognize that urban minority males between say 18-30 are rather disproportionately prone to gun (and other forms of) violence. The next step is to actually do something about it. The media will not acknowledge this fact, even when it screams from the pages of the Uniform Crime Reports published by, OBTW, Attorney General Holder's Justice Department in the administration of President Obama.

That is the elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about. That would require that liberals admit their policies have been a disaster ever since the “Great Society”.

It’s far easier to talk in platitudes and disarm law abiding citizens.
