Now that he has been acquitted, I'd like to see DeLay for President!

Ronnie Earle’s successor as DA in the Democrat cesspool of Austin, TX is a woman who has just finished serving time for DUI. This impaired individual said yesterday that she will pursue the case and call for a full court review, so DeLay is still being hounded by Austin Democrats.

However, the lady lush may have a problem because her Ethics Dept. is broke, but some UT Lefty lawyer will probably be happy to carry on the persecution pro bono to get his/her name in the swarmy Austin American Statesman rag.

Austin stinks. The state capital should be moved to Dallas.

Now that DeLay has been acquitted, Gov. Perry should address this issue.

Whatever happened to this crooked DA? Is he still in government? He should be fired at the least and indicted if possible.

Earle, Corey, Holder. What difference, now, does it make? They are all democratic, lyimg scumbags who should all be serving jail time.

I’ve never seen someone smile in a mugshot... DeLay is probably the first time I’ve seen it ( Unless of course, the pic was photoshopped ).

Glad to see him exonerated. Sad to see what has happened to the Republican House without him.

This was Democrat politics pure and simple.

Earle should go to prison for a long stay.

It’s a compliment to DeLay that the Democrats saw him so effective, that the only way they could stop him, was to charge him with crimes and destroy his career.

I didn’t always agree with DeLay, but what happened to him was a serious political and felonious (IMO) crime.

Taking out a public figure at that level, should be a serious crime punishable by decades in prison.

No, he didn't run for re-election after that.

I believe prosecutorial misconduct in Texas is grounds for a personal civil suit by Delay. Not sure what the time limitations are on that but for what he did, he surely should be sued out of existence. If not, there is an old Texas saying: He needed killing.

This was a disgrace not only because the instant charge was phony but because it took a prominent powerful GOP representative out of the equation and led to a stream of attacks by the dems both in Texas and in DC about GOP politics being corrupt. Coming from a party that knows corruption, they used this charade to impugn the integrity off all in the GOP and the rhetoric has not stopped to this day.

“Austin stinks. The state capital should be moved to Dallas.”

The city of Dallas itself isn’t much better than Austin when it comes to liberal ideologues. I nominate Midland; a city of entrepreneurs, small independent businesses for the most part. People who know and believe in the value of hard work and self reliance. The problem is though; socialists always follow “other people’s money” as they know they can not survive on their own. So, the question is; how to keep these vampires out? Don’t know, suggestions welcome though......
