My best lady friend in this town thinks she is my guardian. Her mother is about the same age as I am, so she has this “take care of mother” thing with me. I finally got a familynet thingy and she can go there on her computer and see where my phone is if I have my phone on. When I leave the house I have the phone on. I don't care if she knows where I am.
I suppose if a truck driver was doing the right thing, he wouldn't care either, but I can see how some would think “big brother is watching me”.

When I read all the negative defeatest attitudes voiced here I think a bunch of wussies post here. Krap you would think this American Thinker or some cerebral website. Conservatives will never defeat Liberals because they have no stomach for it.
I would like to see anyone with a camper, concession trailer, mobile grill ect. join in and provide food and comfort for the participants. We should all fly the flag to identify ourselves and drown the rats in a sea of red white and blue.

He does regional runs now which usually have him home on weekends and sometimes we even get lucky enough that he got to come home from 4 pm yesterday to 2 am this morning! so he got to sleep in his own home last night and we actually got to sit down at the table together and eat a meal I cooked.
Stories like you told are the reason he is done with being out for weeks at a time anymore. By the time we met, he was already doing regional hauls.
I took a couple of weeks off work this summer to ride with him. We had a great time! I had never been through Virginia before, my goodness what a beautiful state! But I did notice that all the Pilots we stopped at smelled lol.
I agree. I think it will come to the point where enough people get fed up we will converge en masse. But, we’re conservatives so we work. Speaking of work, I have to be there in an hour. Have a good day!
It is nice to have people who care about us! Those things can be a blessing. My husband actually likes the electronic logs. No more dispatchers pushing him to cheat. No more dispatchers blaming him for screwing around if he’s 30 minutes late somewhere because of a traffic snarl.
My aunts had one so my grandmother could live in her own home in back of my aunt’s house before she died.

truckers getting pretty upset over all the regulations and restrictions. One is sleep tests for sleep apnea. I listen every night to WLW 700 starting at midnight eastern time. Very informative. good show. i have satellite radio so reception is no problem
