Nadil Hasan was given a "pass" even though he was known to be in communication with Al Qaeda, was known to have made violent outbursts "death threats" against the "infidel", etc.
Without our diversity in the military, the loss of Nadil Hasan would've been a "bigger tragedy" than the murder of over a dozen American men, women, and children, and the wounding of dozens more. So said Big Brass.

Not likely. More likely and contained in reports thought to be somewhat reliable: he had a secret clearance, not a TS. Arrests (as opposed to convictions) don't typically show up on secret level clearance checks. The more important question in my mind is if his employer asked to see his DD-214, and why did they hire him if his General Discharge was noted on that form?
Did he pass the background check because he’s BLACK???
