This reminds me of the old Three Stooges gag. Is there a doctor in the house?

In all seriousness, this is the sad state we now find ourselves. Last week, it appeared that she had a doctorate dissertation in that she was in the process of defending. In other words, she was on her way to getting the sheepskin. Now, we find out that it was a total fabrication. Shame on her. I’m guessing she did it for the same reason a lot of Americans do it. To get a job they want.

Personally, I don’t care how much research she does on Syria. While the situation is tragic and sad, it does not mean America should be getting involved militarily.

It’s amazing to me that “one bad apple [can] spoil the whole bunch” so!
Who would set up a paradigm where one person could so easily and fraudulently escape peer review, only to be left with her own set of unique facts that mysteriously misleads a whole flock?

This still smacks to me of a situation where her false credentials being known (maybe long, long ago) made her ripe for being a “fall guy” whenever the need should arise.

It’s long-term corruption—endemic to our current banana republic. The string-pullers have something really juicy on all those in higher positions to keep ‘em in line and vote the way of the string-pullers. The squeeky clean Palins are pooh-poohed along the way, unless of course, they’re “so “uncontrollable” that they need to be sufficiently damaged” so as never to be palatable to hold a lofty position.
