Despite the circumstances surrounding his discharge, Alexis apparently was issued a government contractor access card that would have allowed him into the Navy Yard and other military installations, said Thomas Hoshko, chief executive of the Experts. Alexis’s security clearance was updated in July and he was scheduled to begin work at the Navy Yard this month.

“There had to be a thorough investigation,” Hoshko said. “There is nothing that came up in all the searches.”

Just like the FBI response to a FOIA request from the brother of a OKC bombing person of interest who died in Fed custody.

Makes sense to only search under the street light 'cause that's where the light is.
