Didn't the "press" blame his torture and murder on "homophobics"? Must've been to advance the gay agenda.
The media made a big deal of the Matthew Shepard case—shortly before the off-year election. Their purpose may have been to fire up the Democrat base so more Democrats would go vote (as well as their perpetual desire to advance the gay agenda).
