Wait a second. What she said was dangerous wasn’t the Tea Party but the “Tea Party matter”. Which I take to mean that she knew that what they were doing was risky because it could easily be seen as selectively targeting political enemies (which was sensible since that’s probably exactly what they were doing). She apparently didn’t want this risky business handled by the rank and file at “Cincy”, but by people more adept at handling such sensitive matters.
It’s hard to determine what she meant because the writer says “a tea party matter” without being specific and then quotes her as saying “very dangerous.” It sounds like she was referring go a specific matter that was dangerous and then expanded it to other tea party related matters when she said “Cincy should probably NOT have these cases.” I wish these articles would give us more information than just a few truncated quotes with no context.
